Complete Machine Rebuilds

Whatever your machine is, the expert millwrights at our Studwell Engineering subsidiary are more than capable of completely tearing it down, servicing all the parts, and restoring it to pristine condition. When combined with a new CNC from Uptime, your machine will meet, or, in some cases exceed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.

As part of a rebuild, we can...

• Machine, level, and square all surfaces
• Install and scrape new Turcite
• Replace spindle and servo motors and drives
• Install new wiring and hoses

CNC Retrofits

CNC retrofits involve the removal and replacement of the CNC, the operator panel, and much of the wiring. We specialize in the installation of state-of-the-art touch-screen MDSI controls and will customize the control to precisely meet your needs.

MDSI OpenCNC^*

OpenCNC software runs on purely off-the-shelf PC hardware. No proprietary hardware or motion control cards are required. OpenCNC runs on Microsoft Windows operating systems and is fully customizable by Uptime Electronics. It is ideal for CNC replacements because nearly every feature a required is possible in software.

CNC Replacements

CNC replacements are just that. We replace the CNC but leave the old magnetic panel, servo drives and machine wiring alone. This works when the servos, spindle drive and wiring is still in good condition or the budget doesn't allow for a complete job. Remaining retrofit work can be done at a later time if necessary.
