Uptime Virtual Joystick

The Uptime Virtual Joystick is an add-on to OpenCNC.  Normally 2-axis movement is difficult using OpenCNC without an external physical joystick.  Uptime's Virtual Joystick eliminates the need for such additional hardware -- appearing on demand and disappearing when it is not needed.

The Virtual Joystick is a standalone module that is fully controlled by soft logic within MDSI OpenCNC.  Axis letters, positive and negative directions, and sticky-buttons are all fully configurable via soft logic.

Note: Use of the Uptime Virtual Joystick requires minor changes to the OpenCNC PLC code. These changes may be made for you by Uptime in which case additional charges for labor may apply.

Ordering Information

The Uptime Virtual Joystick is typically requested as part of an Uptime CNC Retrofit job.  However any existing MDSI OpenCNC installation may easily have the Virtual Joystick integrated into it.  Call us at (562) 692-7072 to discuss your needs and order a Virtual Joystick Package.
