Founded in 1976 by a General Electric CNC field service engineer, Uptime Electronics, Inc. is a CNC and machine tool service organization based in Whittier, California.
Our story
Uptime Electronics, Inc. was founded in 1976 by Warren Goyer. Mr. Goyer was a General Electric field service engineer who repaired GE computerized numerical controls (CNCs) worldwide. He is known throughout the industry for installing the first GE 1050 CNC, a control that revolutionized industrial manufacturing.
As Uptime Electronics grew, many more GE field service engineers came to work here, and the company’s reputation grew as the premier CNC service organization on the West Coast.
With over 100,000 man-hours of field service since 1976, Uptime Electronics, Inc. remains the premier CNC service organization for all CNC and machine tool engineering and service needs.
